Intro to Sewing

This class will focus on the very basic techniques needed to know for using the sewing machine.
Focused on younger students, we will practice filling a bobbin, threading the machine, putting the bobbin in, changing a needle, backstitching and basic stitches.
The students will sew on provided scraps during class.

Materials to bring:

Bring 1 spool of all-purpose polyester thread (preferably Gutermann) – any color (I do carry this at the studio for $2 a spool)
If you are using my sewing machine – Class 15 size 10 bobbin (I do have these for sale at the studio for 25 cents each)

Sewing Kit

Please fill out the online waiver for this class. Please fill this out even if you have already filled one out before, we are trying hard to streamline this process and the older waivers are being phased out. Masks are no longer required and please make sure to bring your sewing kit. I will not have supplies for you to use during class and you will be required to purchase a kit if you do not have yours.
