Guest Teacher and how to become one

Have you ever dreamed of teaching a class on a technique? Something like embroidery, soap making, needle felting, printmaking, stamping? Maybe you’re a jewelry maker and want to dip your toe into teaching others. Soapmaker or MUA, maybe your really into plants?
Needle, Ink and Thread are always looking for fun and new classes to offer; I love to collaborate and have new teachers, or if you are a teacher who needs a place to host a class, let me know. Rental of the space is an option!

The studio is looking to add more interesting and enriching classes. We know we are not the experts at all things so we would love to draw of the amazing talent of our community. Bringing other styles of classes to the studio is a big dream of ours, we want to offer what people are interested and offer unique classes.

*Knitting – Again, a lot of interest from students!
*Crochet
*Needle Felting (wet, 2d, 3d)
*Stamping/Block Printing – Ways to update and transform fabric and garments
*Prayer Flags
*Fabric Draping
*Surface Design – Fabric Design – Super fun and cool! Can use stamps or digital.
*Pattern Making – Flat pattern creation.
*Screen Printing – How to from bringing to screen!
*Macrame – How fun would this class be in the fall/winter!

*Plant Care – I KNOW this is a hot one, I have had a lot of people ask for this class.

*Jewelry making – Sam Sterling from Sterling silver has started teaching wire wrapping! SO COOL!

*Book Club – want to start a book club but don’t have a cozy place to hold the meeting. Rent the studio.
