Essential Oils Travel Case By Natalie Santini – Printed Pattern

This travel case allows you to carry your oils without fear of breaking the glass containers they come in. This case can hold up to eight 15ml bottles or sixteen roller ball bottles (2 in each pocket). Each pocket slot has to cushion, and the case has a layer of soft insulation as well.

Leave out the pockets if you want a SIMPLE zipper case in a flash!

Finished measurements of the case are approx 8″ x 5″

Materials needed: 3 fat quarters of coordinating fabrics, fusible interfacing such as Craft Fuse 808 by Pellon, and fusible fleece or batting (use scraps from previous projects or buy a graft pack at Joann Fabrics), and a zipper-at least 8″ in length. A longer zipper is fine, we cut to size in the pattern.

Pattern is written for the confident beginner, zipper installation uses a zipper foot but can be sewn with a regular foot.

This pattern has been tested by Sewists of varying skill levels.

glass head pins

Denim needle (size 16)

Iron
(2) fat quarters for exterior pieces, pocket pieces, and zipper tabs
One fat quarter for lining
8" zipper or longer – we will trim to size in the pattern
Batting or fusible fleece – craft size package will be more than enough or use scraps from previous projects!

18" x 12" shape flex SF101 or Craft Fuse 808 by Pellon

Zipper sewing machine foot is helpful but not mandatory
