The Essentials Tote

A super useful basic tote measuring approx 19″ x 19″ with huge see-through pockets on both sides that are deep and roomy to hold your most important bits. Inside features MORE see-through pockets on both sides, plus options to make heavy-duty webbing straps OR fabric straps.

Made with foam this tote stands up on its own. I walk you through each step with digitally drawn diagrams and instructions. Photos throughout as well, just in case diagrams aren’t your jam.

1 yard canvas, duck cloth or quilting cotton for Focus Fabric
1 Yds Quilting cotton for interior
1/2 yard 20 Gauge Vinyl
2 pkg double fold 1/2'' extra wide binding or make your own 128" total to include the optional lining pockets.
Webbing for Straps : 120" or make interfaced quilted cotton straps, instructions included (1/2 yard contrast fabric and fusible fleece)

1yd (1.25 yds for large bag) By Annie's Soft and Stable foam interfacing or equivalent.

1 yds Pellon SF101 fusible woven interfacing or equivalent
120" x 1.25" fusible fleece for fabric straps
