Studio Updates
We have been kicking it up to full gear with getting new and returning classes listed, we are still filling in some dates for summer camps, we have a few different options! Sewing Monthly classes are going strong! We have added a morning class for the Adults on Tuesday mornings! Also we are still taking new students in both.
Classes – New and Renewed
We have added some requirement classes to make taking the group classes a little more enjoyable for all as well as more efficant! Sewing 101 – How to use the machine is now a required class for the majority of sewing group classes, this will make sure that everyone at least knows and understands some basic sewing techniques!
Quitling classes!! We will be starting to do more fun quilting classes, one part will be before the class (most of them) you will have to precut your fabric pieces. This means Quilting 101 will be for the beginner quilters, we will get you using squares and sewing HST’s in no time!
Garment Sew-A-Longs/Immersives are a new series this year, I surveyed social media and was told that the best way for most to learn how to read a pattern is to make something! SO we started with PJ pants, the next class will be the Linden Sweatshirt!
Lockers!
We got some cool lockers to allow our monthly sewists and recurring students to leave their projects there so having to do less forgetting items! They are lockable, and will also be open for rent for those that do Drop in Sew! We are fixing them up and getting them painted!
Students Wins!
We have been having the best time in our sewing classes! I am going to share a few of the coolest sewing projects that have been completed recently. I will be trying to post and show off their achievements more often!
