    August Classes – Classes through COVID19

    Covid19 Classes during a pandemic are sure interesting to say the least, however, we have been having fun at Needle, Ink and Thread! Students have been amazing following all the restrictions and guidelines that I have to follow to be open and keep everyone safe. I have been busy teaching a new generation to sew! It seems that this pandemic has reenergized the sewing industry due to mask making, and well having a lot of time to try new things. The strangest part is the sewing machine shortage!   • Sewing Basics – French Seam Pillowcase – Spring Break Class

    Prerequisites: Recommended Get to Know Your Machine – Learn the Basics Skill Level: Beginner Bring:  3/4 Yard quilt weight cotton – this will be the main body of the pillowcase (Prewashed) 1/4 Yard quilt weight cotton – contrast fabric for the band (Prewashed) Matching Thread – All-purpose polyester Size 12 or 14 Sharps, Microtex or Universal Needle Supplies provided by the instructor: Sewing kits will be available to use during the class, however, must stay in the studio after the class is over.
