My Top 10 Favorite Sewing Notions!

Notions

When you started to sew, were you self-taught? Did you buy all the things you thought you needed to find out that maybe it was just shiny and didn’t really serve a purpose, or it was just a bad product than you couldn’t return?

Maybe you are brand new to sewing and just looking for a great list of things that are great to use!

When I started to sew, there were not many online lists; there were many blogs to walk through tutorials on sewing, but nothing really about a great list of tools to use. I spent so much money trying to find that perfect notion. So now, after the years, I am ready to share my favorites!

Sewing notions? What is a notion?

Sewing notions are the tools that you use to complete your projects. Notions are like a mechanics wrench or a carpenter’s saw.  Notions come in all shapes and sizes, along with price ranges! I have put together 10 of my favorites to use. There are tons more for sure; I will continue to post these up throughout the site, updating and adding to other lists!

Now to the Top 10!
