Refrigerator Handle Covers – Sewing 101 – Sun. Nov. 20th 11-1pm

Refrigerator Handle Covers – Sewing 101

We are going to make fabric handle covers for the refrigerator! I am always so grossed out by touching crusty bits from someone not wiping their hands off before pulling open the door. Now you can just throw these in the wash and have a clean fresh pull to open that door.

This is an easier project great for beginners but also fun for those who have sewn for a while!

You will need to take some measurements to bring with you in class –
Measure the door handle circumference as well as the length ( most are around  12-15″ long if your handle is longer than that, make sure to increase the amount of fabric (be safe, grab a yard) you need to bring as fat quarters are only 18″ high)

Please bring all materials with you for classes; due to COVID19, I will no longer have communal supplies like scissors, pins, needles, etc.
Sewing Machine (if you need to borrow one) — note you need one, please in additional notes at checkout.
